Potters of all abilities and interests are welcome to explore and create at Markeim! Buy 10 sessions at a time and come to any of the open studio sessions each week. A staff member will be available to guide potters through the studio, but potters need to be able to work independently from wedging to glazing. The summer/fall 2022 open studio pass will expire on December 27, 2022.
We have two clay options: buy a 25 lb bag of new clay ($25) or use recycled clay and pay only for what you fire ($.50/lb)–artists choosing to use recycled clay will pay as they go throughout the fall. Enrollment in open studio includes glazing and firing fees.
Minimum experience: must have completed or be enrolled in an intro to pottery class
