In this drop-off class geared toward preschool ages (3-4.5), Little Explorers will become budding artists through a hands-on and sensory-rich learning experience. Seeing, hearing, saying & doing activate all senses for a fun and engaging learning experience. Kids will be encouraged to make connections between children’s literature and various art forms and mediums. Each class will integrate storytelling, and projects for the day will be focused on that artist or book. Themes from the stories will be used to inspire artmaking and create interdisciplinary ties. Children will create their own masterpieces while nurturing the skills needed for school like language, listening, direction following in addition to the essential fine & gross motor skills.
Please note: Tuesday sessions are entirely outdoors, except in the case of rain or otherwise extreme weather. In these cases, class will move indoors and windows will remain open to improve air circulation.
