It can be difficult to stay motivated and to come up with new creative ideas, especially during this time. This class is aimed to help break anyone out of an art block, make yourself think in new ways, and to help you get into the creative head space. The goal is to not make a perfect piece of art but to force yourself to just make something given unique limitations. Every lesson you will be presented a new drawing challenge and together everyone will create their own piece. Your teacher will talk you through and show her thinking process as she tackles the same challenges that you are also doing. You will learn several tips and tricks, as well as plenty of resources to motivate, inspire, and keep you challenged in a fun and informative format.
When: 5 Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 PM (7/28, 8/4, 8/11, 8/18, and 8/25)
Tuition: $55 members / $65 non-members
The goal of this class is to simply create and to use certain limitations to make yourself create something you may have not otherwise, for this reason you should be able to hopefully find most of the supplies at home or be able to substitute one supply for another.
Hello! My name is Megan Semple, I am a student at Camden County College. I am studying Studio Arts and hope to pursue a career in illustration. I love experimenting and trying new things with my art. I have had the honor of showing at several art shows and even competing in a Philadelphia based art competition called Art Wars. I have always had a passion for art and was raised in a very creative household. What draws me to art the most is its power to express what words cannot. I have most recently gotten into digital art but I work in all types of mediums including drawing, painting, pastels, markers, and sculpture.
