Lily graduated from Drexel with degrees in Architectural and Civil Engineering, and worked mostly in design of major international pharmaceutical projects. Lily found love in pottery more than a decade ago as a hobby and has recently advanced her craft into art gallery exhibitions, commissioned work, and teaching. Lily’s focus is in functional wares and designs with various techniques incorporating her training and experiences as an engineer. Her work reflects smooth surfaces and streamed lines which translates and incorporates nature and her surroundings. Lily has given her free time volunteering as a member of various boards within various community, education, and art institutions. She is excited to join Markeim as a new teacher and looks forward to spreading the love and joy of pottery.
