$55.00 – $65.00
Fridays, 10:00-1o:40 am (January 8, January 15, January 22, January 29)
This 4-week series is geared towards 3-6 year olds. Caretaker participation is highly encouraged.
This creative movement class led by Amanda Keller Fruchter will encourage kids and their caregivers to move and groove in Markeim’s socially-distant, spacious outdoors yard! Kids will have the opportunity to let loose and express themselves freely through dance, and will be hopping, skipping, jumping, and sashaying throughout the space. The class will consist of a warm-up followed by a new step taught each week, each of which are part of the ballet or modern dance repertoire. The class draws from multiple mediums in addition to dance (such as storytelling, fine art, and music) to encourage interdisciplinary learning. Please note, this class can be modified to accommodate physical differences.
Markeim staff will mark clear areas for each participant in our spacious outdoors yard to ensure safe and proper physical distancing. Masks are required. We ask that registrants are accompanied by a caregiver for the duration of each class.
