The Art of Breath is an enrichment program designed to teach the fundamentals of meditation and brushwork techniques to maximize creativity and well-being for any artists at every level. From the dance floor to the canvas the tools that we offer will improve discipline, focus, and skill to anyone willing to participate! We love to teach people how to use art to grow!
At the core our class is an introductory lesson to the fundamentals of moving meditations and breathing techniques (commonly practiced in martial arts like Tai Chi and Qi Gong) followed by a fine art lesson in brushwork techniques. We will also discuss how to use scented oils, teas, and mindfulness exercises to improve our health and enhance our artistic creativity.
Through our methodology we will awaken all of your senses in an environment inspired by Asian art and structured to spark creativity and promote relaxation. We will immerse all of your senses with music to hear, teas to taste, oils to smell, beauty to see, and concepts that you can feel!
Come learn to calm and center yourself to create the masterpiece within you!
