Nicole C. Meyers

ncmeyers-personal-image-for-siteA former special education teacher, Nicole was raised around art and grew to enjoy working in several mediums including fiber and photography.  In 2010 Nicole opened WoodstreamDream.  She had been creating fiber arts for several years while raising her children.

Nicole’s fiber arts creations include wearable art of upcycled, vintage, and new materials:  original crochet designs {clothing, accessories, and home décor} and items made by upcycling cashmere and wool garments {felting, cutting, and handstitching – most with vintage buttons}.  She has created an ever growing collection of flowers in the form of pins and boutonnieres, headband fascinators, and a new line of hats, mittens, fingerless gloves, and children’s wear.  They’re a prime example of eco-fashion – creating beauty and helping the environment!  In the past couple of years, she has also incorporated nature photography into her artistic repertoire.  She took a photography course in her undergraduate studies and enjoys capturing the world around her digitally.  The intentional delve into floral photography was mostly because she needed inspiration for creation of her floral fiber creations during the winter months.  Her photography is currently available as prints and as note cards printed on 100% recycled card stock. Getting back to her teaching roots, Nicole is offering a crochet class at Markeim beginning in January 2014.

She has been blessed to be able  to build her fiber arts and photography business.  She has many items ready to ship, but she truly loves designing and creating custom items for customers!  She thanks you for your support of artists and small businesses!  See more of Nicole’s work at Nicole can be reached at  For constant contact – “Like” her Facebook page and “follow” her on Twitter.
