Janet Cebular has been exhibiting her work throughout the Delaware Valley since 1972. She has studied at Moore College of Art, Abington and Cheltenham Art Centers, Rutgers College and University of the Arts.
Janet has worked with various art mediums such as oils, fabric, handmade paper and clay.
Working with hand made paper and fabric inspired Janet to begin creating in clay. She has developed a unique style of pottery using white earthenware. Bowl’s are created on the potter’s wheel and completed using her hand building techniques. Each creation includes small mermaids, roses or fairies. She views her little people as living in their own world within her pottery.
Janet’s work is on display in various galleries and fine art shows. Her work is also part of many public and private collections. Janet has won a number of awards in both juried and invitational shows, and has been a featured potter and artist in resident. She teaches and conducts workshops in fabric collage and pottery.
Her studio is located in her home.
