Photography Workshop – Getting Out of Auto and Advanced Camera Techniques
Did you receive a digital SLR (DSLR) camera for the holidays? Do you already own a DSLR camera and had plans to take incredible images, only to leave it in Auto Mode every time you use it? Would you like to learn to take control of your camera? This workshop will teach you the basics and some advanced features of exposure and help you gain a better understanding of the creative (non-auto) modes of your digital SLR. Lunch will be provided in this 6-hour workshop. Topics to be covered include camera functions, fundamentals of exposure, lenses, finding the light and some live shooting.
Students should bring their DSLR and owner’s manual to the workshop. Please note, this class is not for point-and-shoot cameras.
