Art-Ed Internship Summer 2017
Art-Ed Interns gain significant understanding of art and young children, and how these parts work together to create a high-quality art education experience. Through hands-on experiences and training, interns explore the relationship between artistic expression and student learning. Interns learn effective strategies to engage students and manage time.
Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation for art camp and projects; photographing artwork and camp in session; supervising lunch, snack time, and running break activities; composing activity log and reflection writings based on goals; transcribing camper-dictated antidotes; attending training and meetings; co-running art projects at local outreach events; and positively representing Markeim at outreach events.Internship Application Teacher Recommendation
